CSC470: Introduction to Computer Graphics

Welcome to the home page for CSC470. The purpose of this course is to introduce you to concepts, algorithms, and data structures used in computer graphics. The prerequisites for this course are CSC241 and MAT230. If you do not feel confident in your programming or matrix algebra skills, please retake those courses (or otherwise get up to speed) before taking CSC470.

The course uses WebGL. This means you'll have to be aware of HTML and Javascript in addition to using GLSL.

You will obviously need to program to complete your course assignments. You can utilize the Computer Science Game Development lab in Shineman 446.

You must check your email accounts regularly, because I will send course messages over email. You must also check this web site at least once a week.

The best way to contact me is via email. My email address is my first name at cs dot oswego dot edu. I do reply very quickly. Of course, you can also come to my office in Shineman 441 if you prefer personal communication.
