CSC366 Belief Challenge

A case where the belief is changed without second thought is when you get on an airplane, say in New York City, then a few hours later you end up in Miami,
we believe that we are now in Miami and our belief that the plane was in New York City is gone.
At one point we know for a fact that the plane is in New York City, and then once we get to Miami,
we now know for a fact that the plane now is on the runway in Miami, so the belief that the plane is in New York City gets thrown out the window.

For a belief that is a bit more difficult to convince someone with is if someone goes to bed in their room in Oswego,
but when they wake up in a room that looks exactly the same, and someone comes in and says they are in New York City,
they would probably need a bit of convincing to believe that they are now in New York City.
It requires more work because the person in question wasn’t conscious for any of the changes in scenery that occurred,
for them it felt like they went to bed and woke up in the same room and city. To help convince them, it would be easy to just show them the scenery outside the window,
or show the location on their cell phone.
