Holster Crafting

This is a very low cost way to have a functional holster for any blaster. These holsters are secure and will hold the blaster without a strap, although a strap can be added. This hip holsters also have an advantge over manufactured drop leg holsters as they all slide down your leg.

Step 1

Find a black box with thin cardboard (like the Costco pack of degree deodorant).
Open it up flat, place the blaster on the edge of the cardboard with the handle exposed and half of the trigger exposed.
Draw a line around the blaster and cut the bottom corners so the flaps will fold in.(See picture below)

Step 2

Draw lines for the bottom of the holster to fold on which will stop the blaster when it slides in. Run the sharpe edge of the siccors over the horizontal lines so they will fold easily. Start to cut the verticle lines so the holster can be shaped around the blaster, leave the area that the blaster with sit in. (See picture below)

Step 3

Hold the cardboard and tape it down to the desired tightness using electrical tape. Wrap electrical tape around the tip, color in the cut parts black. Cut a piece of black duct tape for the front bottom that stops the blaster to go over the electrical tape. Cut slips in the corners so it can fold on top and wrap around the corner. Wrap the rest of the barrel part with black duct tape. Leave room near the top for a belt loop. Angle it so the blaster drops forward. (See Picture Below)

Adding a Retension Strap

Rubber band strap: Wrap holster with a full width strap (take measurement) of duct tape start at the edge of the back with duct tape, stop at the front and back cut a small square into the strap by cutting the two sides so that 1/2 of the top folds behind the bottom and sticks to the back of the strap. If you cut the sides of the tape past half way you will not need to cut a separate strip of tape to form the loop channel.
