Artificial Awakening is the first of the experiments with the genetic algorithm. It used a population size of 20 and tested the effect of alternating user rankings per generation.
Neon Nightmares tests user-ranking of every generation. This song is used in comparison with Artificial Awakening. It features a long solo resulting from the uneven mutations of the GA.
Machine Messiah tests the effect of a small population size on the GA. User-ranking occurred every other generation. The small population resulted in a quick convergence.
Chaos Engine is a follow-up experiment to Machine Messiah. It still tests the effect of a small population; however, the user ranks every generation (ugh user fatigue).
Rust in the System tests the effect of removing copies from the GA, while using a small population size. This still resulted in a rather quick convergence, or an illusion of convergence.

Electric Eden is my final experiment with the genetic algorithm. I tested with a very small melody to see if "convergence" was happening as I thought it was. As it turns out, the previous music samples were long enough to the point where I did not notice notes that were flipped. In smaller samples mutation is a lot more evident. This implies the need of a strong mutation method for longer samples.
