This story is going to start with my high school times. From there it will split into how my life has progressed and what alternate decisions I would make knowing what I know now.
[[Story Begins - High School(Senior Year)]]
In my senior year of high school is where I was able to further explore my options. I always knew I wanted to do something technology related. I chose to take a couple classes in web design and digital electronics. I had previously taken Cisco Networking 1 in my junior year.

Unfortunately I had never really thought about what I was gonna do after I graduated high school. This is where I would start to change what decisions I would have made.
Decision I Made:
[[Take Time Off School]]
Decision I Would Make:
[[Go To College Right Away]]
Shortly after I graduated I decided to continue working for a retail company that I recently joined. After about a year I still had no idea what I possibly wanted to go for if I went to college. However, I applied for my local community college and got accepted for Computer Informations Systems.

If I got the chance to do it over again. I would not take time off after high school and I would go to the same community college I did right after and still study Computer Information Systems.

[[Take Time Off School]]
Throughout my time at community college I pretty much just focused my time on finish my degree. I did not explore much outside of it. I took classes in programming, system administration, web design, networking and computer forensics.
However, I did not focus very much on after college or what I would do for my bachelor's degree.
Decision I Made:
[[Spend Extra Year]]
Decision I would Make:
[[Graduate within 2.5 Years]]
I eventually graduated community college and went on to apply to SUNY Oswego. SUNY Oswego accepted me as a transfer Junior into the Computer Science B.S. major.
Decision I made:
[[Computer Science B.S.]]
Decision I Would Make:
[[Information Science B.A.]]
After exploring computer science more in community college I decided it was something I enjoyed and would like to major in it. After getting accepted into SUNY Oswego I started my studies in computer science. After a year here I figured out Computer Science was not for me.
I decided that I would switch my major to information science. However, I still enjoy programming and computer science so I decided to also make it a minor.
After taking a course called ISC 105: Intro to Digital Humanities I figured out I would like to pursue Cognitve Science thanks to the professor who taught it.
I am now a Information Science major with a double minor in Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
I am currently also considering a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and focus on technology like Virtual Reality.

[[Go To College Right Away]]
Looking back I wish I had started SUNY Oswego as an Information Science student. This is the choice I would make if I could go back in time. Exploring it here I have figured out it is much more than just a small extension of the things I learned at community college.
I would still choose to minor in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. I would choose to take some classes that prepare me for possibly going for my Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction.
THE END
Start from the beginning of decisions I Actually made:
[[Take Time Off School]]
I ended up spending an extra couple years at community college. I made some wrong decisions 1 semester that resulted in an extra semester and It took 2.5 years at 4 classes a semester to actually finish my degree.
However, since I did not know exactly what I wanted to do nor where I would want to go after community college I ended spending an extra year at community college. During this time I explored the newly added Computer Forensics program and explore potential majors for after community college. Also, since I never took any science or history classes I needed to finish my general education requirements to avoid extra time spent at the 4-year school I transferred to.

If I could do it over I would choose to focus more on after community college and my general education requirements.
I would explore my options before hand instead of focusing on my major and avoiding the parts of it I did not like. I would explore more computer science options.
