Objectives:
  Learn about ...
    learn gdb
    trace a linked list program

1. break up into groups in the computer room.  copy sample3.cc into one of
   your group memeber accounts. use gdb to trace the program.  You have
   30 minutes to do this, and your task is describe the difference in how
   sample3 works and sample2 did.  draw a diagram in describing how the two
   work.  use the following sequence of values in checking things out:
	10 2 10 3 12 -1

2. We will reassemble after you complete your task and go over you findings.

3. discuss sample4.cc

4. Replace the delete_ones function with a function that deletes every other
   node of the chain.  Keep first node, delete second node, keep thirds node,
   delete fourth node, etc.
