Final Project Propositions

Group of: Theresa Kamerman, Matt Stevens, and John Perperian

Our three proposals are as follows:

1. Conspiracy Theory Machine: Given a collection of statements and their sources, reject new assumptions if they contradict already-held beliefs or if they come from an 'untrustworthy' source. Attempt to come to the least logically sound conclusions.
2. Guilt Machine: Given a collection of suspects and witnesses, collect a group of statements from each about an incident. Then, rule out all statements from somebody if it can be determined via logic that they're lying. Finally, determine which suspect is the guitly party.
3. Red Herring Machine: Given a collection of clues about an incident, determine which is a red herring, probably based on the number of conclusions that can be derived from it versus the other clues.

We are choosing to go with option 2.
