On this page you can find some interesting exploratory projects that I am working on, which is the definition of research. If you want all of my publications instead, please see my CV.

Here is the description of a small text-based game I built to disrupt RPG classes. The game evolves character abilities, and the evolutionary algorithm's evaluation function scores them on the basis of their use by players. I got some pretty interesting results. The paper was published in PCG'2012.

The above inspired one of the best graduates of our Game Dev concentration, Eric McDuffee, who worked with me over the 2012/2013 academic year to build a multiplayer FPS that generates its weapons. The paper will be presented at PCG'2013.
